Uninstall Error Message

Symptom

When trying to uninstall Web Research via Control Panel, Add/Remove Software, an error message appears.

Solution

1. Download Windows Installer CleanUp Utility:

2. The software will be installed in the following folder:
   C:\Program files\Windows Installer Clean Up\
    
3. Run the file mcsicuu.exe. All installed programs that were installed using Windows Installer Technology will be listed:
   
   
   
   
4. Select Web Research and click Remove.
    
5. Restart Windows.
    
6. Now delete the Web Research program folder (C:\Program Files\Web Research, for example).
    
7. Install the newest Web Research release.
