Web Research Toolbar is swapped with another IE toolbar
Symptom
If I want to enable the Web Research Toolbar using the View menu of
Explorer,
a different toolbar (e.g. Google Toolbar, Norton AntiVirus Toolbar)
appears. The Web Research toolbar remains hidden. Solution
- Click Start, Run and type regedit.exe
- Open the following Windows registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar\WebBrowser
- Delete the value ITBarLayout in the right pane.
- Restart Internet Explorer. All toolbars will be repositioned
according to their defaults.
