I cannot see the Web Research Toolbar in Internet Explorer
Solutions
- In Internet Explorer: On the View menu, point to Toolbars,
and then ensure that Web Research Toolbar is checked.
Please note that some versions of Internet Explorer have a known problem with
managing several toolbars. The Web Research Toolbar may be swapped with a
different toolbar. Therefore, go to View > Toolbars and try
clicking the other toolbar names on the submenu to let the Web Research Toolbar
finally appear.
- If you are using IE 6:
- Open the Tools menu.
- Click Internet Options.
- Select the Extended tab.
- Select the Enable third-party browser extensions check box.
- If still no avail:
- Start the Registry Editor (Regedit.exe).
- Locate and select the following registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\macropool\Web Research\CurrentSettings
- On the right pane, locate and select the value SetupDone
- On the Edit menu, click Edit Value, and then change the
value from 1 to 0
- Restart WR
- Restart Internet Explorer
- If still no avail:
- Uninstall Web Research via Control Panel, Add/Remove Software
- Restart Windows
- Install the current full release from
