Class does not support automation or does not support expected interface

Important: This information only applies to our software WebResearch.

The error is caused by incompatible program files. For example, this can happen if:

• You didn't restart Windows even it was recommended
• Installation or update has failed

Solution

1. Uninstall Web Research via Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs.
2. Restart Windows.
3. Check if the previous Web Research program folder is empty. If not, delete the remaining files.
4. Install the latest full release from our Web site.
   (Full install package already includes all previous updates).
