WebResearch Extension for Firefox

Here, you can download and install a free WebResearch extension for Mozilla Firefox.

System requirements:

• Mozilla Firefox 2.0/3.0
• WebResearch 2.x/3.x, Personal or Professional Edition
• Tip: For better results, additionally install the Scrapbook Firefox Extension, which the WebResearch Firefox extension will then utilize for saving pages.

How to install:

1. If you have any previous WebResearch extension toolbar installed, uninstall it first in Firefox: On the Tools menu click Add-ons to select it for uninstall.
    
2. Now right-click the following link in Firefox
   (not in Internet Explorer!):
    

   webresearch.xpi Version 0.98 from July 3, 2007 (for WebResearch 2.x und Firefox 2.x - but not 3.0!)

   webresearch3.xpi Version 1.01 from April 21, 2008 (for WebResearch 3.x and Firefox 2.x and 3.x)

   
   
   
   Then click Save Link As... and save the this file with .xpi suffix to a location on your hard disk. Take care not to save as .zip!
    

3. Now open this file by clicking Open File on the File menu in Firefox.
   
   
    
4. Click Install Now and restart Firefox.
